Southern California — Ss Brewtech was founded in 2013 on a single principle: Engineering Better Beer. What started as a better way to ferment at home grew into the benchmark in home brewing equipment worldwide, and since 2016, a trusted production partner to some of the most respected craft breweries in the business.
Engineering Better Beer
Ss Brewtech designs and engineers stainless steel brewing equipment for every kind of brewer, whether that is the neighborhood hero making five gallons in their garage or a production team running a 10 bbl brewhouse. The lineup covers the entire range of fermentation and brewing, anchored by the venerable Brew Bucket, the Chronical, the Unitank 2.0, and the FTSs temperature control system. Plenty of what the industry now takes for granted started on the Ss Brewtech bench, including the conical stainless Brew Bucket, which has become one of the best-selling homebrew fermenters of all time.
Within the Middleby Brewing and Distilling Solutions Group, Ss Brewtech specializes in pilot and brewpub systems, with Deutsche Beverage + Process handling full production systems and Wild Goose Filling handling packaging. Pilot and R&D is where the brand does its best work. You will find Ss Brewtech systems hard at work in breweries like Russian River and Sierra Nevada, where the next big release gets developed, as well as in brewpubs and restaurants around the world, where that same system is the whole operation.

Ss Brewtech entered the pro market in 2016 and has focused on the part of the brewery whereprocess and precision are key. Pilot systems are the specialty, built as professional equipment from the ground up rather thanscaled-up homebrew gear, with electric options for brewers who want that level of control in a compact footprint. Systems ship fully assembled, so one that arrives Tuesday can be brewing on Wednesday. That combination is why Ss Brewtech pilot systemsare installed in world-renowned breweries as well as multitudes of neighborhood brew pubs.
The Brew Bucket started it. A conical bottom stainless fermenter at a price a homebrewer could actually justify, it went on to become one of the best-selling homebrew fermenters of all time and pulled the whole hobby away from plastic buckets and glass carboys. The FTSs temperature control system followed,purpose-built for the Chronical series and the first of its kind to bring real fermentation temperature management to a garage setup. Electric brewing was not an Ss Brewtech invention, but the Brewing system the company builds today reflects the same obsession with control and repeatability that made those earlier products the ones everyone else measured against.
Distilling and coffee are the next chapters. The engineering that goes into a fermenter or an electric brewhouse translates directly: sanitary stainless fabrication, precise temperature control, and vessels built to hit the same number every batch matter as much to a distiller working a wash or a roaster building a cold brew program as they do to a brewer. Ss Brewtech is developing equipment for both, taking the same approach that worked for beer and pointing it at these diverse markets.

One team, unlimited solutions. Ss Brewtech covers pilot and nano systems, Deutsche Beverage + Process builds out the production brewhouse and cellar, and Wild Goose Filling gets the beer and spirits into cans. Because all three sit under Middleby Brewing and Distilling Solutions, customers gets one contact, one contract, and equipment meant to fit together from day one. That means better pricing across brands and support from the team that helped build the system.
